South Australia Strategic Plan 2011

Giving voice to a vision.


Coordinated by the Department for Premier and Cabinet, the South Australian Strategic Plan is a vision for the future of the state. In 2011, the Plan was updated after consulting more than 9,000 South Australians. Consisting of 100 targets, 21 of them new, the 2011 Plan was a reflection of the different priorities of South Australians across the state. The challenge was to showcase this updated Plan in a contemporary manner, using the concept of Community Engagement. Nicknack responded with a concept that was built around the Plan’s new categories. Inspirational quotes were developed that reflected the community’s sentiment regarding each category. These quotes were then paired with specially commissioned portraits of people from the community. The layout and photographs were also adapted for use on the Plan’s website.
