The Wine Grape Council South Australia (WGCSA), the peak body for South Australian grapegrowers, had embarked on a mission to create awareness of inequity in grower contributions. The initiative provided an opportunity to review the existing brand identity, which lacked flexibility, uniqueness, and innovation.
WGCSA aimed to create a new visual identity that embodied the strategic elements of its vision and values. The resulting dynamic, visionary brand identity reflects the innovative and courageous spirit of a new generation of grapegrowers shaping the industry’s future.


A visual identity refresh that totally crushes it.
The new identity inspires a culture of accountability and visionary thinking, that is committed to supporting grapegrower prosperity and sustainability. Overall, the bold simplicity of the new visual identity speaks to the organisation’s values of courage and innovation, providing a single voice for grape growers around the state.
The new identity also sparked a custom illustration style for the brand which has been applied to a range of collateral, including stakeholder communication.
