OUR PROCESS

Listed below are the three basic stages that you can expect us to follow for your specific packaging project. Of course, the number of steps within each stage may vary depending on the size and complexity of your requirements.

STAGE 1/ Brand & Business Discovery
A. Desktop Research – Assessment of your competitors and industry leaders for an understanding of how best to position your product.
B. Stakeholder Workshop – Meeting with your team members to ensure that everyone is on the same page in terms of how the packaging needs to look, along with and production requirements.

Note: Step B may or may not be required depending on project size. We can also discuss whether any food photography is required at this stage to make the packaging more descriptive and appealing.

STAGE 2/ Design Development & Refinement
Here we start to develop visual directions for your packaging project. We usually provide you with options that fully explore how the packaging should look, especially in light of competitor research and industry best practice. Once you let us know your preferred direction, we can make any refinements as needed to the design, and also start to finalise materials, finishes and embellishments.

Note: If your packaging requires photography, then this is the stage where we would work with a photographer to get the shots taken.

STAGE 3/ Final Art & Production
We provide the final files to you in a print-ready format based on specifications provided to us. On the other hand, if you need help with production, let us know. We have a network of trusted partners from whom we can get the best quote for the final packaging.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Complete control and clarity. That’s what you can expect throughout the process. Your feedback is sought and implemented at every stage ensuring that the packaging solution is exactly to your needs and exceeds your expectations.

STAGE 1/ Brand & Business Discovery
This is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our understanding of your product category and the objectives you’re looking to achieve. It’s also a time to share our design brief for the packaging based on desktop research findings. Perfect opportunity as well for you and your team to clarify any issues so we are all clear on how best to proceed to the next stage.

STAGE 2/ Design Development & Refinement
You get to see various options of how your packaging can look. What’s more, you get the assurance that these directions are distinct from your competitors and customised to your product category. If you require tweaks to the design (graphics, colours, fonts, messaging etc), we are more than happy to address this feedback.

STAGE 3/ Final Art & Production
This ensures your team has the print-ready files for production based on the approved design and final specifications provided to us.
