Cardijn College Brand Refresh
Developing a design direction based on brand vision and values.
Cardijn College were looking to update their marketing collateral which had been in circulation for awhile. The challenge, as with any refresh, was where to begin. Nicknack conducted a workshop with the College Principal and Marketing Manager to unpack the vision and values of the College and to better understand the key brand pillars we needed to capture and communicate.
Updating branding elements to make a massive difference.
This juxtaposition of modern and traditional aesthetics, helped create a distinctive look and feel for the brand that is quite unique within the school landscape. Photography played an integral part in the overall communications with the focus being on individuals, to underscore the brand pillar of “EMPOWERMENT”.
The colour palette was inspired by the College crest, albeit in brighter and bolder shades. This combination of blending existing branding elements with newer components delivered a powerful refresh for the College and so far has been applied to their Prospectus and Stationery.
